Our Wedding

Brandon and I met at the approximate ages of 5 & 6 on a church pew.  I immediately thought he was a pest – and he apparently immediately wanted to marry me.  I sucessfully avoided him until I was a senior in High School when he asked me out to lunch.  The gist of the lunch conversation went like this…”I don’t want to look back on my life and always wonder if things would work between the two of us…”

As you can see, the rest is history.  We were married at Healy Point Country Club in February 2008…

It was such a beautiful day…

My very talented Aunt Sheilah arranged all of the flowers…

Hanging out before the ceremony…This is Melissa…one of the best friends a girl could have!

My niece Madelyn…such a sweetie!

This could possibly be the best. picture. ever.

More hanging out & acting silly before the ceremony…

I am fairly certain my dad cried all day…

Did I mention the weather was absolutely beautiful that day??

That is my brother officiating.  I’m pretty sure he completely ignored any part of the day that included kissing…

Silly guys…this is right after they held up the FORE! sign.

Riding away to take more pictures while our guests headed to the reception…

Awww…

Happy Newlyweds…

The Wedding Party…

My family…

Brandon’s family…

Can you tell how much his Memaw adores him…?

My Aunt Sheilah & Uncle Cecil…

Walking to the reception…

More kisses…

We used a scrapbook for our guests to sign in.  We added some pictures from the wedding later.  I love going back to read all of the sweet wishes left for us…

Our idea for the reception was “Afternoon Tea” at the Country Club…we liked the balance of laid-back and formal…

Apparently acting silly again…

The cake…yum-O

Groom’s cake… (Brandon’s uncle made both of these – did I mention we have talented family members??)

The favors were Harry & David truffles.  Brandon and I always stopped there when we were dating.  I loved, loved, loved the ribbon!

Marshall taking pictures like the photographer…so cute…

Apparently I was suprised by all of the bubbles…(I realize you can’t see them in the picture, but I assure you they were there)

Headed to Hilton Head Island…

…and they lived happily ever after…

.:.:.: We specifically chose Neil at iNward Studio because of his awesome personality and quality photography.  He and his staff were so much fun and never interrupted the normal progress of our day.  You can find more of his work at www.inwardstudio.com :.:.:.
